During the last 30 years Mary Hite has become a prolific artist. She has enjoyed painting since she was a teenager, only putting her brushes away when she married and had four sons.

She says "It is a wonderul hobby, and I can forget everything else when I'm putting paint on paper or canvas".

Her aim is to have a large portfolio of art ready for her annual week-long summer exhibition in Arundel.
